Quick Anatomie, the indispensable workshop for the acquisition and fine-tuning of your scientific basics of anatomy
Quick Anatomie© deals with the study of anatomy and locomotor system both analytically and synthetically.
Focused on the study of the human body, except for the cranium, the workshop provides with an overview suitable to lay the foundation of your anatomy knowledge and complement your specialistic education integrating it in a functional vision of the whole human body.
Course Description
Through a multi-sensory method, the course alternates theoretical presentation and interactive workshop techniques such as the anatomic recognition through models and selective coloring, the observation and analysis of anatomic illustrations, various practical experiences which will stimulate your interest and consolidate your professional knowledge. The course objectives are the knowledge of the general anatomy and locomotor system, the synthetic knowledge of the human body macro-areas. The course is articulated in a 32 hours' teaching program oriented to the practical applicability in the everyday work of any Pilates teacher and science movement practitioner.
Workshop Program
- Introduction to the locomotor system and to the kinetic trio (muscle, joint, bone).
- The spine: overview, bones, joints, muscles.
- Introduction to the act of breathing: perineum, abdominal muscles.
- Shoulder: bones, joints, muscles.
- Elbow, pronation and supination.
- Wrist and hand: bones, joints and extrinsic muscles.
- Pelvis and hip: bones, joints.
- Knee: bones, joints, muscles
- Foot: bones, joints, muscles.
- Ankle: bones and joints.
- Extrinsic muscles of foot and ankle.
Requirements and enrollment
It is particularly recommended to those Pilates teachers who want to improve their scientific education and to those who attended the courses Anatomy of movement®, Yoga Anatomy® Anatomy for the voice® , wishing to develop an overview on human body anatomy.
The course text book is "Anatomia del Movimento®", volume 1, by Blandine Calais Germain.
Each attendee will be required to have the text book before the beginning of the course.
The following teaching materials will be made available for the attendees:
- anatomic models of the whole skeleton,
- anatomic drawings with selective colorings,
- handouts from the text book "Anatomia per il Movimento®" (in Italian language).
At the end of the workshop, a written individual evaluation will allow to verify the preparation achieved and to appreciate its results. A certificate of attendance by Blandine Calais Germain school will be released to each participant.
The workshop presenter is Florence Martin, CovaTech® Pilates® Teacher since 2001, Italian representative of the "Anatomy for mouvement®" method by Blandine Calais Germain certified in Perineum and movement ® and Abdominal muscles without risks®.
The workshop will be held at the CovaTech® Pilates® School, located in Milan, 11 Corso Concordia.

Costs
